Radar.Taxi General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Settings
Ownership
Radar.Taxi is owned by Comercializadora Phone2Web Spa. (hereinafter Phone2Web), with registered address at Avenida Presidente Kennedy 5600 office 404 Vitacura, Santiago 7650724, Chile
Definitions
User or Passenger is defined as the person who uses the site to request a ride or service
Driver or chauffeur is the person who drives the vehicle
General Objective
Radar.Taxi is a free service created to help users locate and contact taxi drivers, as well as help taxi drivers receive ride requests.
The service combines a website with an application for drivers to function.
The website https://radar.taxi/It displays taxi drivers on the map and allows users to define the pickup point and final destination. With this information, we provide the route, distance in kilometers, trip duration, and estimated cost according to local regulations.
USERS
Data collection and use.
RadarTaxi collects the data provided by users when requesting a ride, which includes their name and phone number. We do not verify this data, nor do we create a user account. This data is stored on the site for the duration of the trip and is included in the driver's trip summary and statistics.
The driver can call the user to verify their phone number.
Radar.Taxi relies on the GPS location of the user's device, or on a location provided by the user, and will automatically locate the location.
Radar.Taxi also allows users to rate the quality of the taxi service they received.
Radar.Taxi does not collect data from the user's device.
Users can request rides using the site on a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet.
This notice applies to all RadarTaxi users worldwide
USER COSTS
Radar.Taxi is completely free for the user. However, the user may incur costs related to their internet connection and the data traffic required to download and use the site, as well as (if automatic service assignment is not possible) any phone calls to the taxi driver.
Radar.Taxi does not charge the end user for its services, nor does it charge taxi drivers a commission. Payment for the trip is made directly between the user and the driver.
Radar.Taxi calculates the fare using an algorithm similar to that used by taximeters. The calculation may vary depending on the day of the week, time of day, traffic congestion, etc. In any case, the displayed fare is binding on both the passenger and the driver.
The price does not include any additional costs that may apply. We recommend coordinating these costs before starting your trip.
The user expressly authorizes the communication of their username, telephone number and geographical location to the taxi driver and/or taxi company that provides the taxi service.
Drivers
Drivers: people who provide transportation to Passengers individually or through partner transportation companies.
For proper functioning, RadarTaxi collects data from drivers who are verified to be approved to participate in the services.
This notice also governs other data collections by Radar Taxi in connection with its services. For example, we may collect contact information or data from drivers who start but do not complete their applications to become drivers.
Our privacy practices are subject to the laws applicable in the places where we operate. This means that we engage in the practices described in this notice in a particular country or region only if permitted by the laws of those places.
Please contact us here or at the addresses below if you have any questions about our practices in a particular country or region.
RadarTaxi is responsible for the processing of data collected in connection with the use of RadarTaxi services everywhere.
RadarTaxi operates and processes personal data globally; wherever and whenever you travel, your data travels with you so we can provide you with a seamless experience. We also respect your data protection rights whether you are in your home country or elsewhere.

III. Data collection and use.
RadarTaxi collects data:
1. Provided by users to RadarTaxi, such as during account creation.
Created during the use of our services, such as location, username, and phone number.
2. Data provided by drivers. This includes: their name, email address, phone number, address, profile picture, banking or payment information (including related payment verification information), driver's license and other government-issued documents (which may include identification numbers, as well as date of birth, gender, and photograph). This also includes vehicle or insurance information. Driving history or criminal record (where permitted by law), license status
Identity verification photographs: This includes photographs of users and/or their government-issued identification documents (such as driver's licenses or passports). These photographs can be used to verify a user's identity, for example, through facial recognition technology.
Demographic data: We may collect demographic data about users, such as gender or occupation, when necessary for certain RadarTaxi services or programs, such as safety features that allow users to set a preference to provide or receive services to/from other women (“Women Driver Preference”).
3. Data created during the use of our services. This includes:
Location data (driver and delivery person): We collect precise or approximate location data from drivers' mobile devices when the RadarTaxi app is running in the foreground (app open and on screen) or in the background (app open but not turned on).
Location data. We collect precise or approximate location information from the mobile devices of passengers and order recipients if they allow us to do so through their device settings.
RadarTaxi collects this data from the moment a trip or order is requested until it ends, and every time the application is running in the foreground (application open and on screen).
Passengers and order recipients can use the RadarTaxi apps without allowing location data collection from their mobile devices. However, this may affect certain features of the RadarTaxi apps. For example, a passenger who has not enabled precise location data will have to manually enter their pickup address.
Transaction information: We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided; trip or order details (such as date and time, requested pickup and drop-off addresses, distance traveled, and items ordered); and payment transaction information (the amount charged and the payment method). We also associate a user's name with that of anyone who uses their promotional code.
Communications data: We collect data about phone, text, and in-app communications between enabled users through the RadarTaxi apps. This includes the date and time, as well as the content of text and in-app messages. We may also collect the content of phone calls only when users are notified in advance that the call may be recorded.
B. How we use personal data.
To improve the security of our users and services.
For customer service
For research and development
For marketing and advertising
To send non-commercial communications to users.
Regarding legal proceedings
RadarTaxi performs the above activities because they are necessary to comply with the terms of our agreements with users and/or for the legitimate security interests of RadarTaxi, our users and members of the general public.
Customer support. RadarTaxi uses the information we collect (which may include call recordings) to provide customer support, including investigating and addressing user concerns, and to monitor and improve our customer support responses and processes.
RadarTaxi performs the above activities because they are necessary to comply with the terms of our agreements with users or for the purposes of RadarTaxi's legitimate interest in monitoring and improving its customer service.
5. Enable communication between users. For example, a driver can send a message or call a passenger to confirm a pickup location, a passenger can call a driver to retrieve a lost item, or a restaurant or delivery person can contact the recipient of an order with information about their order.
6. Marketing and Advertising. RadarTaxi uses data to market its services and those of RadarTaxi's partners. This may include:
Sending emails, text messages, push notifications and in-app messages or other marketing or advertising communications about RadarTaxi products, services, features, offers, promotions, sweepstakes, news and events.
This may include using location, travel and order history, device data, and usage data to send personalized marketing communications based on observed or inferred user interests and characteristics. For example, we may send push notifications suggesting a user's favorite destinations or merchants, or in-app messages offering discounts or promotions for products or merchants similar to those a user has previously ordered.
Displaying RadarTaxi ads on third-party apps or websites. This includes using location data, trip and order history, device data, and usage data, and sharing encrypted email addresses and device or user identifiers with advertising partners (such as Facebook and TikTok) to personalize ads based on user interests.
Displaying third-party advertising in RadarTaxi applications or in connection with our services.
This also includes ads for other third-party products or services that are personalized based on users' observed or inferred interests and characteristics, which we determine using data such as approximate location, travel information and history, usage data, demographics (which may include inferred gender), and device or user identifiers.
This also includes personalized ads based on data about the current trip or delivery request, including the time of the request and the services requested. For example, if a user requests a ride to a supermarket, we may show in-app ads for third-party products that may be available at that supermarket.
To measure the effectiveness of RadarTaxi ads and third-party ads displayed in RadarTaxi apps or in connection with our services.
RadarTaxi carries out the above activities on the grounds that they are necessary for RadarTaxi's legitimate interests in informing users about RadarTaxi's services and features or those offered by RadarTaxi's partners. Please see the sections titled "Choice and Transparency" and "Marketing and Advertising Options" for information about your choices regarding how RadarTaxi may use your data for marketing and advertising.
7. Non-commercial communications. RadarTaxi may use data to send surveys and other communications that are not intended to market RadarTaxi's or its partners' services or products. We may also send users communications about elections, voting, referendums, and other political processes related to our services. For example, RadarTaxi has notified some users by email about electoral measures or pending legislation related to RadarTaxi's services in their areas.
RadarTaxi performs the above activities on the basis that they are necessary to comply with the terms of our agreements with users, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests of RadarTaxi and its users in information.
8. With consent
RadarTaxi may share a user's data in a manner other than that described in this notice if we notify the user and they agree to share it.
E. Data retention and deletion
RadarTaxi retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including providing its services and complying with legal obligations.
RadarTaxi retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. The period for which we retain user data is determined by the type of data, the user category to which the data relates, and the purposes for which we collect it.
The period during which RadarTaxi retains user data may also be determined by legal and regulatory requirements, security and fraud prevention purposes, or by issues related to the user's account, such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute.
For example, we retain data:
during the lifetime of user accounts if such data is necessary to provide our services. For example, user profile information and credentials.
for 7 years if necessary to comply with tax requirements. For example, information about the trip or delivery location of drivers and delivery personnel.
for defined periods as needed for security or fraud prevention purposes. For example, we retain incomplete driver applications for 1 year and rejected driver applications for 7 years.
after account deletion requests if necessary for security reasons, fraud prevention or compliance with legal requirements.
Users can request the deletion of their accounts at any time. RadarTaxi may retain user data after a deletion request due to legal or regulatory requirements or for the reasons set out in this policy.
After an account deletion request, RadarTaxi deletes the user's account and data, unless they must be retained due to legal or regulatory requirements, for security and fraud prevention purposes, or due to an issue related to the user's account, such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute. Because we are subject to legal and regulatory requirements related to drivers and delivery partners, this generally means that we retain your account and data for the applicable statutory retention period after a deletion request. For passengers and order recipients, your data is generally deleted within 90 days of the deletion request, except where retention is required for the reasons mentioned above.
Choice and transparency
RadarTaxi allows users to access and/or control the data that RadarTaxi collects, including through:
